How Vitalist Works With GTD
Step 1: Getting Started with Vitalist and GTD.
Start out by putting anything you may need to do or remember in your Vitalist inbox. This can include to-dos, notes, projects, ideas, phone numbers, etc. The idea is to get it out of your head and into Vitalist.

Step 2: Getting Organized with Vitalist and GTD.
After you have added actions to your inbox, you need to process them and get them organized. Each action can be moved to its appropriate list. These lists include:
- Actions: Things you are ready to get done
- Waiting: Things you are waiting for other people to do
- Someday: Items you want to think about in the future but are unsure when
- Ticklers: Items you would like to be reminded about on a specific day in the future
- Reference: Un-actionable items that you would like to remember
Once the appropriate lists have been chosen, you can add attributes to each action or item like projects, contexts, due dates, and priority. You can also set up actions with reminders and to repeat at specific intervals.

Step 3: Getting Things Done (GTD)!
Now that you have organized what you need to do, it is time to start getting things done. Vitalist gives you the power to access your lists and actions from anywhere. Mark your items complete as you go. All actions are archived so you can easily review how much you got done.

Print your list to take them with you.

Access your actions with our iGoogle or Netvibes widgets.

Export your lists through RSS and iCal.
